We won't lie to you: the Kuriat Islands are our favourite spot. A protected marine reserve just 1 hour by boat from Monastir, with turquoise water that's honestly hard to believe. On the way over, dolphins often come to swim alongside us, and while you're in the water it's not unusual to see a green turtle surface for air right next to you.
You'll spend the full day aboard the Lac Majeur II, a real 25-meter yacht with a deck, shaded area and freshwater showers, not a cramped tourist boat. Small group (max 25 people), French-English crew who know these waters like the back of their hand.
Here's how the day works: we pick you up at your hotel (be ready from 8:00 am; Hammamet ~8:00, Mahdia ~8:15, Sousse ~8:30-8:45, Monastir ~9:15; exact time confirmed the day before by WhatsApp), then depart from the Port of Monastir at 10:00 am. After the 1-hour crossing (with a stop if dolphins show up), you'll enjoy 2-3 swimming stops at the islands, a proper Tunisian meal served on board (mechouia salad, fresh fish, bricks, seafood, desserts: a real lunch, not a light picnic), sunbathing on deck, and return at 5:00 pm.
Our crew knows exactly where to take you: the calmest swimming spots, the places where turtles tend to surface. That kind of knowledge comes from years alongside local fishermen, not from a tourist map.

Departure from Monastir Marina 🚢
Welcome aboard and departure towards the Kuriat Islands. Passing by the fish farming area. Dolphins may be spotted during the crossing, depending on the day's conditions.
Arrival at Kuriat Island 📍
Free time and swimming in the crystal-clear waters. Set-up under a parasol, with a table and chairs reserved for you.
Lunch on the island 🍽️
Included menu: grilled sea bream (250-300g), chicken escalope, merguez, Tunisian salad, rice salad, mechouia salad, unlimited mineral water, seasonal fruits (watermelon & melon).
Discovery activity 🐢
Presentation of the sea turtles, plants and birds of the island, led by the "Notre Grand Bleu" association.
Back at sea 🌊
Fresh-water showers available on board. Swimming break in the open sea for about 30 minutes.
Return to the Marina 🚢
Departure towards Monastir Marina, arrival expected at 5:00 PM.
